I can't think that quickly.

Good fight. Yeah your opponent is a class act and it’s nice to see some strong and humble chess players clay each other.

I love the vividness and angst with you which you describe your struggle to turn a losing game around
I totally relate (at a level roughly 1000 rating points below yours) !

You still put up a great fight at the end there. Very admirable! He does seem like a great guy!

Yeah, I as well thought e5 was premature. I was thinking development, reposition the queen, castle and connect the rooks, for a good opening position relative to the opposition. THEN trying to force the issue in the center may be viable. Fundamentals are even more important when you're playing strong opponents right?

GG, Anna you show such grace it is lovely to see.

That's one thing I noticed about him, he has a good personality. He showed some good sportsmanship there. Playing against a FIDE master would be tough.

I love when I play a stronger opponent and they not at my move.

Thanks for sharing this game ! What a mastrerclass !

I totally understand the frustration of not being able to castle whenever my opponent’s queen is on a rampage. But this guy is clearly no slouch. He knew how to quickly take control of the pawn game. But hats off to you for putting up a valiant effort towards the end. 👍

This was a good class from both of you in chess manners, especially OTB.

That was a great watch and seems immediately after the game he was talking about the suspect a2-a4 move

@shacharrachmany1102 2 months ago

It's a classic "Let's attack before castling" idea

@francescopistoio189 2 months ago

You had to use the Bull opening. 😂

At 1:25 the kid to the left of her is smiling when he sees the opening.

You always have to look out for checks on a5 in this structure.

I really appreciate it when great players lack ego and are willing to share and discuss their losses & anxiety. Quite endearing to those of us that know all too well what anxiety and losing feels like.
