As a Barca fan, it's a nightmare for me whenever this guy is on the pitch. Definitely one of the best players of all time and a credit to the game. Respect🙇‍♂

One of the greatest midfielders to ever play the game🏆

And he still throws his magic in Milan at the age of 40

This guy surely now after 5 UCLs and the two incredible World Cup runs with Croatia has to sit among the all time mid-fielding greats Iniesta, Xavi, Zidane etc. I think his humility means people sometimes forget how incredible he is.

This man is an engine what he’s achieved in the game fully deserved the ballon d’or top 5 midfielders of all time

Never realised how likeable of a guy Modric is, top 3 greatest midfielders of all time and seems like a great guy too

Imagine Real Madrid with out modric all these years ? He is the reason for 5 champions leagues! One of the best midfielder ever if he is not the best of all time ! What a talent enjoyed every minutes of his playing football

One day we will all look up to Luka as a great coach. Luka knows the game in the deepest details.

7:50 " if he doesnt score, no one talks about the ball" ... So true and is an absolute testament to all of the greatest midfielders of football who make these kinds of passes without recognition.

Luka is one of the best of all time 👑

This pass of outside foot should be called modric pass !

Best years ahead of him in Milan. Scudetto and passion!

I'm not a Real Madrid or Spurs fan, but I have to say that I've always loved Modric. His touch, vision and execution is absolutely unreal.

Rio Ferdinand is so good at this

Such a lovely chat between them, Modric is fantastic to listen to

Still remember people laughing when Madrid signed him from Spurs. Truth is, those clowns never watched him play at Spurs. Modric was always a magician!

I rate Luka so highly. The fact that he acc takes his flowers in this video and doesn’t downplay his own greatness adds to his Like-ability. What a guy

I'm from Slovenia and we always had a great insight into Croatian football through their legendary daily newspaper, Sportske Novosti. I remember Niko Krajnčar was treated as a much bigger talent in the beginning, maybe because he had more flair in his game or because he was Cico's son or whatever, But when Modric started playing for Dinamo Zagreb as a first pick, he was a truly apparent "game dominating spielmacher" and media started to slowly shift into his direction as a bigger prospect. What made him a better player than Krajncar was obviously that he's a natural born runner, small, lean, thin; He can outrUn anyone in the world. He probably traines a lot, but i also think he's got genetics perfect for a midfielder. All that is not to say at all that he hasn't got technical abbilities, he does, but his movement is what nakes him special in the global sense.

Absolutely smashed Liverpool at Anfield.

"we will kill them at Bernabau"
modric is just ice cold like wtf

Honestly think he’s the most elegant player I’ve ever seen. An absolute magician. Reminds me of
Federer on the tennis court. Doesn’t look like he’s running… just gliding!
