Glad IDW is in order, because the release for Mirage, Archie and Image are insane.

it’s worth noting that some of the earlier hardcovers in this collection were $49.99! they price jumped maybe halfway thru the release, maybe cuz of production costs or inflation, idk

Genuinely, thank you so much for the rundown on this series. Jumped into the first volume after loving tmnt as a kid and this is amazing. Super glad to hear the whole run is so perfectly collected. Subscribed!

Thank you for not spoiling anything.
Too few people lend that courtesy.

I jumped into the recent run and these hardcovers are cool. But I'm holding out for an omnibus 24 issue like release possibly

Love to see it! You should make a complimentary companion video for the IDW GI Joe too! Both of my fav License Adaptations along with some runner ups like Sonic.

I used to buy the run in single issues but decided to stop when I hit issue 100 and collect these editions instead.

I now have the entire run and as of last night I've read the first twelve volumes which takes me really close to where I left off (issue 89 of the Ongoing). For £40 it was a no-brainer to collect these gorgeous editions

It's missing the Infestation 2: TMNT #1-2 which I'm pretty sure are canon to this universe. But thats it. I was impressed they even had the Ghostbusters crossovers.

I remember buying the single issues every month when these started in 2011, and remember getting excited for issue 10 I think it had Shredder on the cover. Then with all the mini series and side stories the reading order got confusing. So I was delighted when they started releasing these hardcover collections cause you didn't have to think about reading order. I'm still waiting for IDW to announce an IDW Collection exactly as in this video but for the relaunched Jason Aaron's including all the side stories so far: Mutant Nation, Nightwatcher, Casey Jones, and The Shredder. But they're keeping the focus on the main issues and not including the other stuff 😕😟😠

Here for both

My only complaint about them combining all of the final stuff into volume 18, instead of making a 19 (and maybe making a few more mini series) is that I wish Lita had gotten a cover. There's plenty of characters I love in the IDW TMNT series that would look good on a cover but Lita is the one I really wish was included with these. Hopefully they'll continue doing these with part 2, and let some of the others like her, Koya and Bludgeon get a chance to shine once they get the obligatory characters out of the way

i'm just starting volume 8 of the paperback collection. here as a comic and a TMNT fan

Still need to get me volumes 16, 17 and 18. Love this version of the Turtles. I know there’s a lot of people who don’t like the Sophie Campbell run, and while I also think it’s a step down from what came before, I still like it. It’s different but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Can’t wait to finish off the series. Not gonna bother with the next version of the Turtles as I simply don’t have the space. I’m quite amazed that I’ll have one complete collection as it is! 😁

I Freaking LOVE the IDW TMNT comics it's the first comic run i read to completion, It's like if you took the best aspects of 2003 tmnt and 2012 TMNT and made that into a comic and we need an invincible style (with better animation) adaptation for it at some point.

At one point I was collecting the trades for this series but then when i realized that the hardcovers were cheaper on Amazon and were in reading order (meaning I didn’t have to jump between books) it just made sense to just move over to the hardcovere

Definitely need to start grabbing these hardcovers. I love the IDW Transformers stuff and I’ve always been curious to see how their TMNT stuff is. It’s so sick they’ve got everything in hardcover
