1:08 The sound from Perfect Dark when the N64 logo transforms into the PD logo.

I grew up with Castlevania 64 so I'll always have a soft spot for that game. Didn't actually play Legacy of Darkness till recent years but to me they are both really fun games and its kind of a shame that the general fan base won't give these 2 classics a second look. I had no idea there were so many visual differences between the two though until this video lol very interesting comparison.

Castlevania (N64) actually has better graphics than LoD in many places, the colors look better too
Gameplay wise Castlevania is also better, they messed up the auto target lock on in LoD

Great work

Great video

Good video comparison.
LoD has more detailed visuals, textures are a little better (see the ground at 12:43) and it also looks much more cleaner, perhaps its using a better resolution and Anti-Aliasing.
The only things that were better in Castlevania 64 was Dracula's cape physics and that it had more blood.

In a perfect world, this would have been held off until the Gamecube and allowed to be what it was initially promised as. Neither are perfect, but I prefer 64 to Legacy. The biggest irony is that the original game's levels make more sense with Cornell, and the ruined/altered levels in Legacy should be what Carrie and Reinhardt traverse. I also feel Henry should have gotten his own game and gone up to the Clocktower stage with his own final boss. The still could have thrown in saving the kids storyline. But what we got out of him makes me really wish we could have actually gotten Coller instead. Even though we all have things we wish were different, these two games should have a better reception than they do-especially since they are the last traditional Castlevania games, with every other game being a Symphony clone. Fuck, I wish that game had never been created. Ruined the franchise entirely.

Vogliamo la arte finale😂😂

Should I play Legacy of darkness first and then Catslevania 64 or is Legacy of darkness a remaster? Because in the castlevania timeline it said that first came legacy of darkness and then Castlevania 64
