🎨 FULL PAINT SESSION | Fantasy Swipe in Pink & Orange ✨

Hi everyone, and welcome back to my studio! 💕

In today’s video, I’m taking you along for a complete paint session from start to finish. I know the full process makes for a longer video, and there will also be a shorter version coming soon, but I really enjoyed filming the entire session and thought it would be fun to let you see the whole process.

This time I’m creating two HUGE paintings, both 70 x 80 cm (27.5 x 31.5 inches). These are going to hang above my bed, so I wanted to create something that would work beautifully together.

I’m using the Fantasy Swipe technique, with pink and orange as the main colors, along with some beautiful supporting shades. I absolutely love how these colors come together, and I hope you enjoy watching the paintings develop as much as I did creating them. 🩷🧡

🎨 PAINT COLORS USED

• Carmine – Amsterdam
• Pyrrole Red – Amsterdam
• Quinacridone Rose – Amsterdam
• Persian Rose – Amsterdam
• Ultramarine Violet Light – Amsterdam
• Azo Orange – Amsterdam
• Deep Gold – Amsterdam

Paint recipe:
All paints are mixed with Owatrol Floetrol, a paint conditioner that improves flow and leveling, helping the paint spread smoothly.

Paint mixture:
1 part acrylic paint
2 parts Floetrol
2 parts water

Cell Activator:
Titanium White from Amsterdam
1 part paint
3 parts Australian Floetrol

By using two different types of Floetrol, you get that beautiful lacing effect (also called cells or bubble effect). There are many different recipes online, but this is the one I personally use and trust.
