I noticed the dog puzzle deal at Hobby Lobby, too. My store was overflowing with them so I plan to wait until next week for a deeper markdown. It was a great  deal day at Dollar Tree. God provided over 100 stuffed animals at 75¢ each for future shoeboxes. 🎉

I wish we had an Aldi where I live! The nearest one is 2 hours away but when we travel we always go to Aldis! The wooden animal puzzles at hobby lobby are adorable and a great price! I have to buy at 50% or 60% off or there will be nothing left to buy unfortunately, I miss the days of 90% off. Thanks for sharing your finds! I am going to try and film a haul today ❤

So many good deals! I'm glad you showed going to Aldi- I have never thought about them for OCC. I need to get out there- hopefully I will find a few things after the rush. Thanks for taking us along! 💗

😊👍

I was happy with my haul from 2 Targets. Everything was from the bullseye section. I got three sets of the wooden doll house, with animal family and three furniture sets, some of which I got from a 'go back' cart and two from my second store. I also got some wooden toy/block sets and mini cars and craft kits. I did pretty good since I wasn't there at opening. My 2nd Target had Barbies for 2.50! Some other things too, it was all pushed together, easy to find. There are things I would get at 90% if it happens that I passed on like hair accessories and books. My Dollar tree had some  stuff left. I found one coloring book, pencil top erasers and 3 stuffies. I'm going to another tomorrow, hoping for more coloring books.

Ii love the puppy puzzles. They are not separated but they are color coded on the back. I'm thinking of putting puppy stickers and a puppy stuffed animal with them...would love any ideas.

Thanks Denise for showing the stores you tried today.  Actually, Dollar Tree was probably the best place for me price wise with 50% off.  I loved finding the $2 Christmas tee shirts at Walmart.  They also had some children's "The Nutcracker" hardback books at 50% off.  So beautiful.  I hope to shop again tomorrow.

Wow, I was at  Aldi's  before Christmas & they didn't have much kid stuff at all. We had a bad ice storm. I didn't  get out today at all.

Dollar Spot (Bulleye's Playground) only goes to 50% they never go lower. Last year by the 27th they had completely removed everything in that section at my store. I'll need to get out tomorrow. We went to Aldi after lunch lol that was my mistake. It looked like a Christmas raid! I got a the leftovers of the food basically. I did score at Kroger, a whole cart of American Greetings stuffies for 90% off. Since they didn't put a sign or anything at all on the cart, I'm hoping I can get back before anyone notices. You know I have gone to Walmart the day after and no stuffies, but then a few days later a ton turn up. I don't know if they're just slow moving them or what! Although this year I haven't even been to Walmart this season to see what they had.

I am sitting at home because an ice storm. I have money to spend!!!! I hope there will be somethings left by the time I can get out. I have very few retail options.

Always enjoy watching your shopping hauls. TFS

Merry Christmas Denise 😊.  I was waiting for the haul at the end hahaha

I've bought some of those wooden puzzles and toy sets as well as the finger puppets.  The spring items were 40% off .  There wasn't a lot left at Hobby Lobby as far as Christmas.  I was at Target and got some little scrunchie pals (with the blue bow), car sets,  and the doll house/furniture and went back to the Christmas section  and got some Our Generation pets for50% off.  I got a notice that Target is having a clearance sale on the Giggle Scape Drawing Pad.  Again thanks for the videos that have shown me where to go and what to look for.

Hi Denise  i went to wallmart 75 percent off. I got some really good things. I spent more than usual but  i got so many good deals and quality items i couldnt pass them up.. 5:53 I am so happy i started packing boxes already.  Happy New Year!

💥💥

I went to two Wallmarts. The first one was really picked over. I got there at 8 30 and a clerk said a crowd was waiting to come in a 6 am. I did get some t shirts for  $2.00 and some stuffies and that was about it. Some things were not scanning 50 per cent off and I asked the cashier and they said some things have not been marked down yet. The second wallmart i  got more things the t shirts were a dollar. So i have a lot of t shirts. Maybe you can give me an idea using t shirts as filler.

Some things like the snowman puzzles and legos were not marked down and they wouldn't give them to me.at 50 percent off. So I was a little disappointed.

I didnt find anything at hobby lobby. But I did get some things at 50 percent off earlier in the season. Shopping was different this year.

How do you determine a budget for your OCC boxes? Like as you’re shopping through the year?

They closed down our BIG LOTS STORE 😢😢😢

I personally think those deals are not that great, other than the legos. I guess because I shop year round, I’m spoiled. I buy tee shirts from The Childrens Place all of the time that are less then $2.00.
I’m thankful for the tour. I’m going to check some things out from Walmart, when they drop to 75 and 90 percent off.
