You mention Bowser getting the star cure by doing a puzzle doesn't "sound like something he'd do" and you're right. Kuzzle later confirms to the bros he got frustrated at not being able to put any of the pieces together, so just wrecked his house and stole the star cure

I like to think the Stache stat isn't tracking mustache size, but rather mustache quality. Like, it looks the exact same, they're not doing anything special to it, but people look at it and say "yeah that's def a 37 stache right there."

26:24 the reason Fawful does this is because of the fact that the bob-omb room is beneath bowser. He plans to make bowser workout until he lights on fire, then causing him to blow up the bob-ombs, presumably in an attempt to kill bowser

The most hilarious thing about the Challenge Medal is that actually GETTING the fucking thing is harder than using it. Green Shell takes NO prisoners.

I was stuck on the final boss fight as a kid for many, many years, PURELY for the mashing. I have memories of asking my mom if she can press them faster while we were waiting for a dentist visit (she was, in fact, faster. Beat the game on the car ride home after.)

To know that X AND Y can BOTH be mashed, after ALL THIS TIME... GRAAAAAAAHHH.

55:36 Little trick for anyone who might have trouble with Yoo-hoo cannon- only memorize the position of one of the bros instead of both. Then you instantly know any of the ones that AREN'T the bro you memorized have to be the other one, so you only have to memorize half as much.

bringle... squishy means the opposite of what you think it does, something being squishy means it dies quickly

40:00 It’s poetic that Bowser’s memory of Mario and Luigi are significantly stronger than they actually are

I think the plan with the treadmill was for Bowser to catch on fire and get blown up. The treadmill wouldn’t even trigger until Bowser already got free by falling through the floor. If the explosion didn’t kill Bowser, it would at least boot him out of Fawful Theater, and Fawful probably assumed Bowser would just book it right back to his castle again instead of somehow learning about the Star Cures.

I don't think Bringle knows what "squishy" means in the context of video game characters, given that he refers to the challenge medal roided enemies as "squishier".

Squishy -------- Tanky      is a spectrum for determining durability. Someone is super squishy if they die by being looked at, as opposed to someone being tanky if they eat damage for breakfast and don't care.

Say what you will about the remake, but I'll die on this hill saying that it gave me two super damn good stories and more character development to the lesser-acknowledged of Bowser's Kingdom

40:25 Fun Fact: in the remake, when Bowser Memory M uses the giant attack, it gets a Mega Mushroom instead of a normal one.

"yeah some of these fights take a long time when you don't level anything but facial hair"

9:09 It took Chuggaconry a whole video to beat the minigame and Bringle beat it on his first try. lmao (Btw, I beat it in my 3rd try)

40:10 bowser does NOT have the pass man he can’t say that

1:16:23 YOU CAN FUCKING WHAT? I only ever knew about the shell counter until literally just this moment.

4:35 counting or not counting blitty violence

The DSI OGs know that rubbing the mic lightly always maxes out the volume, so you don't have to blow on it at all actually :)

The reason why Fawful and Midbus had Bowser run the treadmill is because the treadmill lit Bowser on fire which ignited the bomb-obs. The duo were clearly counting on the explosion killing Bowser rather than set explosion launching Bowser to where mole bros were digging their tunnel.
