We arrived in the Swiss town of Brienz. We took a retro cogwheel train up Mount Rothorn, 2,300 meters above sea level. We then walked back, covering over 12 kilometers and descending 1,700 meters. Throughout our eight-hour adventure, we admired the azure surface of Lake Brienz.
