I love first through third grade!  They love their teacher and most of them want to do good.  Such a fun age!  Love your nails, outfit and new tote :)

You will see how your third graders develop independence over time. Continue to do your best with routines and procedures because, like you mentioned, many of your students are dignified second graders. There will be times when they will have challenges with settling down when they are out of their routine due to assessments or assemblies that throw a curve ball into their routines. Take care.

I’m glad you’re loving 3rd grade! It takes littles forever to log in, but my first graders are pretty quick. It takes a lot of practice with the littles and getting them on a good routine. You’re doing great!

I currently teach 4th grade right now but LOVE 3rd and 4th graders. Just wait until the middle of the year with 3rd graders...it's the best! They are much more independent than they were in August, but they're still a blast to teach.

I am on a similar boat here! Went from 5th to 1st, and I am loving the same changes, specifically behavior lol so happy for you!

Loved the video! ❤ so excited for your vlogs. I’m glad this pregnancy is going well. I’m praying for peace during the house stuff.

I do whole group instruction on the rug too.  Too much fooling around at their seats;). My third graders are taking some training too, but it’s a good grade

I'm so glad you are liking third grade. I have taught 1,2,3, and 4 (currently in first). I will be honest... I don't think I'd love 5th grade for some of the hints you said in this video! 😜 I loved 3rd for a lot of reasons. My favorite is first grade though.

❤ yay! Love the set!
