Just play the Lightning like an F-104 and stop turning

You are trying to dogfight in an interceptor XD

Lighting really works if you stop playing it like a dogfighter and more of an F104, also Red Tops are really good so try those next time. Firestreaks are just ass beyond 1km

not including Sea harrier is a crime

War Thunder players who know nothing about rocket science in a day and age where missiles can hit targets from 100km away.
“Man, these early missiles that were literally some of the first ever created sure are bad when subconsciously compared to missiles that came years later”

The Scimitar has a cheeky use that most people don't know about- sit over the runway with 4x bullpups and mine some salt.

Bro was hitting his own head with a hammer with how 'smart' he was playing the lightening

The EEL is decent when you get a few more upgrades and the red tops and don't play it like a noob.  Bare in mind if you are going really fast and so is the guy you are firing a missile at is, you're gonna have to get closer if it's a bad missile. It's looks cool AF in my opinion

Ah yes, turn fighting in a Lightning!

i main Britain but of all planes to dogfight with I wouldn't go for the lightning  😭

fgr 2 slaps, but bro judged it stock :(

What i've learned:

SRAAM's are nuts and British mains have extreme skill issues if they think otherwise

The Hawks are actually lovely for Sim Air. The missles are okay, Radar makes it really chill thaks to iff and the Speed doesnt actually Matter that much in Sim

I'm gonna defend Britain till my death

Scimitar has always been a hidden gem for me in the 8.7 region. And for some reason my ADEN aim is always pretty good with it😂

i had this on in the background and heard the RWR and i was multipathing and then i realised it was the video not my game

The lightning is broken, you are just bad, skill issues 😅😅

Javelin is one of my favourite planes in the game ngl, if you're not in a max uptier to f104s you can climb to space and orbital strike people with firestreaks, they're actually imo better than aim9bs if you use them right

Lightning is my guilty pleasure, it's also one of my IRL favorite planes ever, so i guess i have an extra layer of tolerance for playing it.

I don't know about air, but my experience with British ground is suffering.
The armor just does not work, and the guns on anything above 6.0 just harmlessly bounce or shatter most of the time, despite having huge pen values. For example, the front plate on my black prince was penned by a 75mm jumbo that my gun was powerless against in return. Even with sabot.
