Welcome to PGX: Raw & Real

PGX: Raw & Real is simple. I sit with people who’ve lived through something and/or made it big.

This isn’t meant to be inspiration or a template for life (for that, you can check out PGX Ideas).
This space is different. It’s their story, as they experienced it.

In this episode, I spoke to Piyush Mishra — Indian actor, singer, lyricist, playwright, musician, and screenwriter.

Raw and real conversations work well with friends, not with artists and actors.

You need some preparation so you can ask better, more relevant questions. Otherwise, you make it difficult for guests to open up and show who they really are.

This can only be achieved through the right questions and by knowing their background.

This podcast started with me feeling jealous of Mishra ji’s amazing life as he described it. Gradually, as he opened up, I felt like he was the 40-years-later version of me. When he shared stories from his younger days, it felt like he was describing my current life. Eventually, he showed me a pathway and gave me clarity on what I should do next. Crazy legend.

1:16:50 Piyush sir is talking about Pranic Healing. He has written about it in his book "Tumhari Aukat Kya Hai". A must read Book.

This is one of the most honest conversations I have listened to on your podcast. I was not expecting the time to go by so swiftly. Piyush Mishra is a gem of human being and you did justice to him by respecting the depths. Great work.

Host definitely needs some prep.... discovery of India is a very well made series and that's how 90s generation came to know of Evolution if India through history. Prakhar, u seemed confused about Piyush mishar's concerts. U need to attend one to know it. Ballimaran has been coming to US 2 yrs in a row and the theaters in CA-Bay area were packed with audiences singing along to Piyush's songs. TReducing Piyush mishar's talent to only GoW is unfair. Time to catch-up Prakhar.

Shishye: Ye darshan kya hota hai?
Guru: Piyush Mishraji ke saath bitaaye kuch lamhe aur un lamhon ka barson tak ehsaas.

Self-discovery is the most profound discovery of all.

True philosophy is not found in books alone. It is found in lived experience, in honest storytelling, in moments that awaken self-awareness.
Thank you for this conversation and taking us along, Piyushji and Prakhar 🫡
