Half this video “when it’s good it’s good when it’s bad it’s bad”

Deep in the spring slop (when this was recorded at least)

2009-2013 I feel gets slept on by fans. Even tho many memorable moments occurred. 2024 I think is really underrated. We had quite a few bangers and the racing wasn’t all that bad. But you know the cars didn’t look that great and the engine wasn’t a v10 screamer for either regulation.

Finally someone did this

Edit: no, bad execution. It should've been like 2000-2004, 2005-2008, 2009-2013, 2014-2021, 2022-2025 and 2026. Dividing things by decades makes the effort useless in my humble opinion.

"wait so all F1 racing was mid?"
"always has been"

2:46 seriously who the hell thought “barriers? Pfff! Hay bales will totally stop the car before it kills everyone standing way too close to the track!” because they deserve to be personally liable for the multiple horrific accidents that caused.

After reading the title I thought u would rate regulation periods instead of decades... I know it would be hard to do for older years, but man 2009-2013, 2022-2025, 2026-... could be easily split up...

When lotus is responsible for a majority of changes in a 24 years. Ground effect was busted yet amazing and it still is.

Btw 1950 F1 was something like 1930s F2 (back then that was called Voiturette Class). Before 1937 there was one rule: max weight of 750 kg. Because of that Mercedes made these 700hp monsters (compared to weak and slow 300 hp in F1)

I put my eye drops in and the thumbnail looked like H*tler vs Hamilton for a sec 😭😭😭

I still got no idea where I rate this regulations cycle still. I was not a huge fan of the ground effect era so I am happy we are a little far away from that but this currently is still not the move F1 should go. However there are still some positives with these regulations people forget:
○ the cars being a lot smaller is great especially with the new chassis and wheels
○ the cars needing 55% of it to be coloured

I see what F1 and the FIA are trying to do but censoring themselves, fans and being in denial really is just making these regulations look like a freak accident. Just be more honest.

Duck this is a quacking video good stuff

A - 80s, 90s, 00s...

Mansell, Senna and Schumacher's overtaking and "charging" (back when it used to mean going fast and being the quickest guy ever to lap the track - not bloody Volts, Amps and Kilo Joules) was a sight to behold.

2026 has to be number 1 I mean so many real overtakes and they do so much LiCo just makes me get out of my chair with full excitement 😂. Simply lovely.

I don't think it's a good thing to group regulations by decades. For example the first half of the 2000's was pretty dull in terms of racing but the V8 era was just insane, 2006-2012 were extremely competitive seasons

The amount of people that forget how bad the racing could be from 2017 to 2021 is really surprising. It had its highs but a lot of lows. The second a car hit dirty air, any momentum they had was deleted. For example, Max would be chasing Lewis with a tire advantage, lap after lap he's catching up to him. The second he would hit dirty air, he would eat through his tire advantage just trying to keep the gap. By the time he got out the dirty air, his tires had degraded to a point that he would be kinda of just stuck behind him.

It's always a goodd day when duck uploads!

I like the 2022-2025 cars, not for the racing tho, they didn’t work as fia expected cuz it made the cars create more downforce and dirty air, but because of that they became fast even if being a lot heavier
