"You're special and the worlds ending, give me your money" thats straight up the best description of cults Ive ever heard

From Toronto Canada here, I remember maybe 10 years ago that someone my relative worked with was being recruited by these weirdos and went to one ‘meeting’, decided it was not for him and then had strange cars outside his home for awhile after…. creepy 😮

WEIRDER THAN JONESTOWN? Buckle up!!!

The characteristics of a cult... 1. You're special, 2. The world is ending, and 3. Give me all your money!

oh and the cult leader gets to sleep with everyones' wives lol

ps: your t-shirt game is always so on point!!! love the one you have on in this video

The give away is always sex and money

So so many parallels to Vallow and Daybell’s “church” wow

All Chad Daybell moves. Make people feel superior, seek out the highly devotees, make the “special” few feel as though they are the only ones that can belong to the group. Perform “miracles” that only you and Lori can see or perform and reveal to others making them feel even more devoted. Again, ALL DAYBELL.

This was very interesting to hear. It's also a reminder that cults exist everywhere and close to home.
My own belief and opinion of cults is that they're created for financial gain/greed, power and sex.
Religion is simply what they use to hide behind.
I feel sad for those who join and truly believe only to be hurt, disappointed, and maybe even killed for their money.
"Sound familiar Lori and Chad"?

You're very good at what you do and you never seem to skip a beat! I appreciate your videos and always look forward to your next.

Thanks again for your time and hard work in sharing this information 🙂

I like your channel a lot. Best wishes for you...

I'm in my 40's and have heard alot about Jonestown, Waco and The Heavens Gate cult, but had never heard of this?  Thanks for your doco, Noor.  I found it fascinating.

I can't believe how people fall hook, line and sinker into these cults

Oh, I get it, Chad and Lori are reincarnated leaders of this group...right? Lolol!😂

Great video as always!👍

I'm so glad you covered this group. They are truly weird.

“You’re special, the world is going to end give me your money.” That’s a cult. Perfect summation. You, my dear are quite pithy.

Being a Montrealer, I remember this tragedy all too well, the stories were chilling and shocking. It was the murder of the 6 month old baby boy of a couple who were members, prior to the mass murders that I found so haunting.  Stabbed with a dagger. The couple was made to believe, if memory serves, that their baby boy was the reincarnation of someone 'evil' who had to be killed...an innocent little baby and these morons actually believed that insanity. These people were so brainwashed and gullible it is beyond comprehension. Primarily they played on people's fragile ego's and wishful thinking, convincing them that they were the chosen ones, so important and iconic in a past life and were superior to everyone else. That way of thinking is still alive and well, especially in that particular area , that seems to attract similar believe systems. In France, laws were changed because of that tragedy and they now have zero tolerance for cult-like activity. There's no shortage of doomsday cults, especially in that area. It's bizarre.
I think it was primarily murders staged to look like suicides, or maybe some agreed to the barbaric plan but changed their minds and were killed but it's hard to tell. It was the way bodies were laid out in strange formations and other chilling and disturbing details that gave the impression that they were killed and placed that way.
I believe the authorities were looking for De Monbro and their house of cards was crumbling. But it was said that he was just about robbing the members blind and making money any way possible. He didn't even believe in his own elaborate belief system unlike most cult leaders. He was a psychopath.
I know people who had encounters with several of the members back in the day, including that monster De Monbro who had set up shop in a small town in southern France called Rennes-le-Chateau. A rather infamous area, steeped in history of the Knight's Templar, gold treasure and Grail legends which was perfect for the scam. They were dealing in illegal weapons and all sorts of criminal activity.  The locals were very nervous and still speak about it in a whisper. I unknowingly stayed at a small hotel  in 2015 where they  were based for a time in the late 80's. It was  owned by a wealthy American woman name Elizabeth Van Buren who was a deeply spiritual  author and researcher who got taken advantage of by these psychos. The poor woman lived in fear  after that and never recovered from the trauma.  She ended up losing her mind and placed in a mental hospital until her death.
The stories of what went on at that property was like something out of a horror film. I've never encountered a place so dark  and evil, literally terrifying. I heard so many bizarre stories of rituals, black magic and bizarre practices,  that some believe caused this place to be perpetually cursed. It's still famous for very bizarre paranormal activity which is to be expected when people are practicing the dark arts and summoning demons. This could also explain the horrific tragedy that befell those people. I didn't mean to write a novella, your video struck a chord. Great job btw.

Oh boy I have been duped by people in the occult world for similar things. Its interesting to know how they work.

Good grief nothing kills worse than religion and politics 🥺

"Di Mambro was in control of everything"... Except his own diet apparently.

“You’re special. The world is ending. Give me your money.” ACCURATE. I LOVE this channel❤

Notice how these crazy cults have so many similar beliefs, reincarnation where they previously  were very important people, need for group leader to combine couples together, need for secrecy of their special beliefs, etc. Sounds alot like the Vallow/Daybell Clan!
