If number 2 was shown in the USA maybe people would not be so quick to support politicians and influencers with links to sex trafficking.

Sorry to hear this is the last of your British reactions.  I'm British and i've always enjoyed your content.

"Just because it isn't happening here, doesn't mean it isn't happening"

Is the point of all those "adverts"... they make you experience it.

Number two is not about keeping a close eye on your kids, it's about knowing what to do when things go wrong.

You can see why we Brits don't trust that American style of optimism. We tell it straight and we view life like it's all going to come crashing down, not like we'll be living the dream one day.

“the boy fell from the tree” the message was more about learning first aid,  dad started shaking him which is the worst thing to do, if the woman was there she would’ve known to keep him flat on his back until paramedics arrive

I've noticed many Americans reacting to this list, and consistently, they seem to interpret the message from the St. John Ambulance advert as simply "watch your kids closely." St. John Ambulance is a large well-known charity and a major provider of first aid training, including workplace courses that are legally required, mental health first aid, and courses for the general public. The main takeaway from their adverts is that everyone should be first aid trained because emergencies can happen unexpectedly, and help may not always be immediately available. Being prepared through proper training can make a crucial difference in those moments.

We don't sugar coat these things, here. That's what makes them so effective.

Had seen the MND advert years ago and not paid much attention.

6 months ago my cousin died from it. She went from a fit healthy wonderful woman, to being locked inside her body.

She served in the British armed forces in her youth and died in her 50s.

The advert wrecks me now.

RIP Kim ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Real shame you guys are stopping the UK reaction content, it's how I got on to you in the first place. We love watching your perspective, it's sometimes the kick we need to appreciate the things we are used to in everyday life. Good luck with whatever it is you're focusing on next.

British infomercials do NOT PULL THEIR PUNCHES therefore when these were first shot on UK TV People took NOTICE of them.

The St Johns Ambulance ads were to encourage people to learn First Aid, CPR etc. Because that could be the difference between life and death, when a paramedic/EMT/Ambulance can not be there in time.

Hands up who's a grown adult and still won't pick up a sparkler on fireworks night? 🤣🤣 IYKYK

Adverts like this but aimed at kids were commonly shown to children during the 70s and 80s. They were extremely hard hitting and were meant to scare you. To this day the one about train lines I saw as a child is stuck in my head and I am extremely wary about crossing or going near them. They were effective.

Sad to see you go, lads. I watched you for British content & on Youtube only.

I'm 40 years old and the ads i watched as a child in the late 80s and 90s are still burned in my brain. These ads worked and have stayed with us our entire lives

I am more than one of those children. I broke the cycle. My two sons were loved and protected and allowed to grow into wonderful men. And they love their mother...me. It takes just a second to know that you WILL change  many a past wrong. We ALL have that in us. Bless you both xx

In the United States motor neurone disease is most commonly referred to as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig's disease.

My friend’s mum died from motor neurone disease. It slowly takes the life from a person.

"I am the Spirit of Dark and Lonely Water" is one public information film that stuck with me from my childhood.
I'm sure Donald Pleasance was probably a great guy in his everyday life, but he could sure be as scary AF when he wanted to..
