Eyes Wide Shut is a 1999 film directed by Stanley Kubrick and starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. It was Kubrick's thirteenth and final feature film, as well as his posthumous work, as the director died just days before being able to show the final cut to Warner Bros. It is based on the novel The Dreamtale by Arthur Schnitzler, and its script was written by Kubrick himself and Frederic Raphael.
