I saw some video's floating around youtube and was looking at the different artifacts to try something new. Surprisingly, this combo'd very well and super pleased with the out come. Hopefully someone will give this a spin.

The exotic class item's in destiny aren't as popular as once before. It used to be really strong but now with the updated artifacts and armor mods they have been overlooked. Even though its not the strongest, this build works well with Spirit of Filaments and claws. Giving devour on rift cast and granting an additional melee charge.

Heirloom is a crossbow powerful in my opinion but you need to optimize for decent to great single shot damage. Taking advantage of cauterized darkness (artifact mod) we can increase the damage towards enemies with 1. scorch and 2. darkness debuffs. The melee and threading's spread unravel and severing meaning this perk will be active alot. This can also take advantage of agrent quiver futher increasing the damage the bow's damage.

I chose the Warlord's ruin armor set since you'll be using your melee and hopefully sword attacks to grant a healing grenade on rift cast. I think it synergized extremely well to keep me alive alittle longer.
