I grew up in Waukesha, WI and spent so much of my middle school and highschool years hanging out on Main Street. Whether it was getting gelato after a play or meeting up with friends for coffee, I still like to visit these places when I'm in town. I have a much greater appreciation for this place after leaving it, and my dad and I had a lovely morning stroll around Downtown Waukesha while waiting for my mom to get off work.
If you ever find yourself driving through Waukesha, I'd recommend making a pit stop downtown. My favorite places are:
People's Park
Divino Gelato
The Steaming Cup
Donut Squad
Saturday farmer's market

Starting September 2nd, 2022 [Black Shirts] will be meeting at Dady-oh’s 250 W Broadway in Waukesha, (formerly Paul’s, formerly the Metropolitan) every Friday morning. 8am is the official start time, some arrive earlier, some later... I was in the WHS class of '62
