From 2029, a smart hybrid heat pump will become the standard when replacing a heating boiler. This is striking, because the Schoof cabinet actually scrapped this requirement.

Reporter Suzette Nesselaar investigated the differences between central heating boilers and heat pumps. Martin Visser and Marianne Zwagerman view it more as an expensive obligation for households than as sensible climate policy.
