I love this show. Getting the right diagnosis can be really hard... I watch it hoping to get some answers since my doctors are completely lost 😢

I hate the way Mark Beck says that they felt like they dodged a big bullet, as though Down's Syndrome would be a burden or something. Some of my friends have Down's Syndrome and Autism among many other things, and I honestly don't think I could ask for any better friends if I tried.

I hope things have changed for parents who are experiencing issues during pregnancy. The language used in this video is hard to hear. The worry the parents had to go through. But also I think their baby looks beautiful even with his diagnosis. Imagine starting life with everybody saying all these things about you. I feel sad for Wesley .

I dont know why this people dont choose the abortion ,when you know your child has problems is better for him avoid to suffer. But in usa thee are bunch of moralist and ultra religious people . In italy we can aborted for whatever reason until 3 months and if the baby has problems Aldo at 6 7 months and it s free.

I wish Doctors would stop treating Downs Syndrome as though it is a tragedy. It's not, honestly especially with modern medicine to help with any heart problems.

If you're expecting a child with Downs syndrome, you just get an abortion? That's sorta the only responsible thing to do?? Anyway, 20% of all pregnancies end in spontaneous abortions - mother Nature's way of stopping what isn't viable. So it's quite a common and normal thing, and the thing to do if you're in that situation and want a child, is *to try again*. I've been there, done that. Miscarried at around 6-8 weeks. Shrugged, got checked, had a corrective surgery (fibroma) and got pregnant again when I was allowed to. My reasoning was; the first fetus wasn't viable, so it shouldn't live. End of story.
