Ps. Debby Basjir: Your Thoughts Determine Your Life! Fill Them with God's Word, Not Vain Things
What has been filling our minds?
Every day we receive so much information, words, problems, worries, entertainment, and various things from the world. Without us realizing it, what we continually allow into our minds can influence the way we think, make decisions, speak, and live our lives.
Therefore, as believers, we need to be careful about what we fill our minds with.
📖 Romans 12:2 reminds us to experience the renewal of our minds so that we can know God's will.
🔥 A mind filled with God's Word will direct our lives toward God's will. Conversely, a mind constantly filled with vain things can distract us from God's purpose.
In this video, we will learn:
🔹 Why our thoughts have a significant influence on our lives.
🔹 Why we must guard what enters our minds.
🔹 How God's Word renews our mindset.
🔹 What is the danger of letting your mind be filled with vain thoughts?
🔹 How to develop a mindset that aligns with God's will.
🔹 How to apply God's Word in your daily thoughts, words, and actions.
The question is:
What occupies our minds more each day—God's Word or vain thoughts?
Don't let our minds become a haven for worry, bitterness, sin, and other unedifying things.
Let's learn to fill our minds with God's Word, so that our lives are increasingly directed toward His truth, will, and purposes.
💬 Reflect:
What has been occupying your mind most lately? Is it drawing you closer to God or distancing you from Him?
