The BEHRINGER LM DRUM drum machine recreates the sound of popular 80s drum machines. Three devices are combined in this unit: the Linn 9000 – a mix of a digital drum machine and MIDI recorder; the Linn LM-1 – famous for its use by Michael Jackson and especially Prince; and its successor, the LinnDrum. Linn Electronics drum machines were unique in that they were the first drum machines in the world to use digital samples of real drums, recordings made by Roger Linn himself. This was a revolutionary approach compared to Roland at the time. Modern developments and Behringer engineers make accessible to everyone what was available to a select few half a century ago. The LM DRUM features an 8/12-bit sampling engine, 109 authentic drum sounds, a 64-step sequencer, 16 independent analog outputs, velocity-sensitive pads, pattern and song modes, and flexible connectivity options.
