Hey Peaches! Halloween season is here. And we're starting it off by getting stalked by....well we're not sure what this thing is. What do you think is it? And what was happening at the end there?

My friend showed me this movie back when it first came out and pointed out to me that the finality of "It Follows" is the entire premise of the horror.  It isn't "It Follows, Unless" or "It Follows, for a while."  It is forever, no escape, and one day it WILL catch up.  Your very best effort just buys some time.  And that's the dread of the movie.

I find it odd that people think the idea of the STDemon is a weird one for horror, to me it's always felt very true to 70s and 80s horror where one of the rules was if you indeed fuck around you will in fact find out. Whether it's camp counselors in crystal lake, or teens on prom night in halloween. Even Hellraiser used the ideas of sexuality and pain as a drive for the horror.

“Sometimes the artistically correct choice is not always the most satisfying.” Thank you for this.

Love this movie, and it contains one of my favorite little details, which both of you picked up on. Something was like feeling odd and dreamlike the first time I watched it and I finally realized about halfway through. The WHEN this movie takes place is really un-anchored (on purpose). You have outfits from the early 2000s, E-readers, houses and décor from the 70s, cars from the 90s driving next to cars from the 2010s. It builds a really nice subtle background feeling of uneasiness.

“They Follow” is the sequel that they just finished filming. Neon will be putting it out.

Assuming the ghost is walking 4 miles an hour and doesn't sleep.  That is about 96 miles covered a day.

Thank you, Adam, for the Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within reference. Game recognizes game.

Hi there! Electrical Hardware Engineer here.

A surge protector has a built in circuit breaker or fuse to cut power in the event of a power surge from the main power to prevent the power surge from sending too much power to the devices plugged into it. It's a one-way flow of power.

If you drop the lamps or whatever into the pool, the surge protector won't trip because the power is coming from the wall, through the protector, and out to the devices. As long as that surge protector isn't having too much main power running through it and/or isn't compromised by moisture or physical damage, it'll happily keep pumping 120V power into those lamps until they fail.

This film made me LOOK BEHIND MYSELF for DAYS

This movir unlocked a fear I didnt know was in me

They just wrapped filming the highly anticipated sequel 'They Follow' on September 21st. Robert David Mitchell has returned as writer/director with Maika Monroe reprising her role as Jay. Are you guys going to react to the sequel when it gets released next year? The Movie was filmed in Detroit, MI. It took the guise of Jay's father at the end at the pool which is why she was even more freaked out (we see his picture tucked in the edge of her dresser mirror).

I saw this for the first time a couple of days ago! Was very pleasantly surprised at how effective yet simple it was in terms of scares.

Easily one of my favorite horror movies ever, it's just following you and it's the scariest shit ever

Love y'all both being so quick to try and math out the best way to stay ahead of It. Pretty sure Film Theory did a video with that exact premise back in the day

I love the synth score by Disasterpiece, who also did the score to one of the best Xbox Arcade games ever, Fez!

"Can ghosts exist in space?"
There's literally a guy named Space Ghost!

Regarding the nakedness of the ghost: You guys said it but the "ghost" is taking on forms of previously killed victims. Seeing how it tends to kill people, makes sense a lot of the people were naked when they died

OMG you guys actually went through with it! I cant wait!
