Jesus Founded the Catholic Church. If Not Him... WHO? [Matt 16:18]
Catholic Bible Highlights

Who founded the Catholic Church? Did Jesus start the Catholic Church in Matthew 16, or did it begin centuries later? The Catholic Church exists — over a billion people, in every century back to the apostles — so somebody founded it. In this episode, Kenny Burchard and Catholic apologist Dave Armstrong put one challenge on the table: if it wasn't Jesus... name the founder, and name the date.

Because Jesus Founded the universal Catholic Church
Then this video literally showed up at the same moment with the pdf. So I used that to write my post.
God just knows what I need things!
Your study guide was really good!
God reveals something to Joseph in Genesis 41: 39 just like God reveals something to Peter in Matthew 16: 17.
Joseph's name is changed in Genesis 41: 45. Simon's name is changed in Matthew 16: 18.
Peter is given keys as a symbol of authority in Matthew 16: 19. Joseph is given a ring as a symbol of authority in Genesis 41: 42.
Joseph is told that no one can lift hand or foot in all of Egypt in Genesis 41: 44. Peter is told whatever he binds on earth will be bound in heaven and looses on earth will be loosed in heaven in Matthew 16: 18.
We can also talk about how Pharaoh places Joseph in charge of the house in Genesis 41:40 like Jesus does with Peter in Luke 12: 41-42.
Pharaoh also places Joseph in charge of giving people their food (grain) at the proper time. Jesus tells Peter the same thing in Luke 12: 41-42. He even tells Peter to feed His sheep in John 21: 17. Peter gives us the Eucharist (grain).
