Should say “ ever caught on video” just imagine the big ones that nobody films. Still monster bass, I’d freaked to catch a bass like these!!

For a heavy fish they really fight like an obese Walmartian on a scooter. All gut and no cardio.

I caught a 14 pound jack fish (northern pike) a couple years back. 30lb test and I thought I was snagged, took me a while to get him in. I even ended up jumping in the water thigh deep and shoveling him onto the shore because I couldn’t land him. That was a good day.

I’ve caught a big bass and later found out someone else had caught the same fish that week. It’s happened to my friend as well.
Oliver is the first giant fish catcher I became aware of in California. Matt was the second.
Both of them inspired me to catch a teener before I die. (And time is running out)
