WARNING: If you are a White Sox fan, save yourself 17 minutes: This isn't a positive review!

This is based on the perspective of sitting in the SCOUT CLUB, the "home plate club" seats directly behind home plate. This has nothing to do with the bleachers, the fans, the food in the stands, or the energy / knowledge of the fan base. This is NOT an overall "stadium review", I walk quickly through the stadium because the games go so fast nowadays there is barely any time to film, to get a quick glimpse of the stuff going on, and sights to see. I'm naturally going to miss things that don't stand out, or things that are off of the main concourse / random path I took. You can find much more knowledgeable and positive YouTubers to take a look at this stadium, I am not one of them, I'm a random dude that barely knows how to use his cameras saying my unfiltered opinions, and I'm trying to be more Christ like, and I failed in this video.

The entire point of this video isn't to SLAM Rate Field, but I think owners need to hear honest perspectives from people like me, who are not "YES MEN": I'm just gonna tell you my honest true opinion like I have nothing to lose. There area so many areas here where the White Sox could improve. I don't know if the organization is already aware of this, and maybe they don't care, or they don't want to spend the money to do it. A renovation for these areas would be a drop in the bucket compared to their bank accounts though IMHO.

Anyway, I know this video is gonna make some people angry, that's not my intent, I just don't want to lie in these videos, so here it is!

You seem like a good dude, so I'm not sure why there's so much hate in your heart throughout this video. This stadium isn't even in my top 20 and I could still find positives despite that

Your review was done poorly, negatively and you contradicted yourself often. 1.You praise wrigley but stated our concourse is small when wrigleys is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller, seats significantly more uncomfortable also. As someone who is currently touring all 30 ballparks, our concourse is bigger than a lot of other stadiums, despite them being nicer. Atlanta doesnt have a big concourse and is crammed. So is Tampa so is most other parks with the Texas Rangers being the exception because theres is huge.2. The mistake you made was going on Friday. They average 18-23K on a normal night. Fridays are usually sell outs because of post game fireworks and concerts so it is unusually packed which means you couldnt move about to get a real feel for the park. 3. Your review was based on scout seats. They have 1 catering service. The general seats have access to a 100 different foods spots, independently ran and separate from the scout seating caterer. You didnt try an authentic chicago dog because they dont have them in the scout area. You didnt try any of our hispanic food, pizza, or asian food for that same reason. Ballparks should be evaluated based on comfort, accessibility, views, entertainment outside of baseball, transportation and energy in the park. White sox excel in a few of those areas. I think you didnt like it based on others opinions, the unfair stigma this park has and you honestly went on the wrong night. Although it isnt a top park, it is nowhere as bad as people (mostly cub fans and sox haters) make it out to be. There are FAR worst places to see a ballgame. Angels stadium is horrific. So is Tampa. Even Dodger stadium doesnt have any interactivity whatsoever. Its literally a huge ballpark with no outside entertainment district. Just a giant parking lot. This was one of the most disappointing and overly negative (unwarranted btw) review videos ive ever seen.

People rave about the concourse food, not the Scout Seat food. Of course, you didn’t enjoy the grilled onion and sausage smell so you may not have liked that food either.

I do think the prison comparison was weak. I’ve been to a lot of parks and I can’t say that gates and railings are unique to the Rate. I think you went in already expecting to hate the park.

I believe this ...The White Sox have a history of not being the greatest team. That's fair to say. And I think that this year, the team is good , which caught everybody off guard, including and especially the owner AND management. I think it can be faireto say that they can throw a decent party on short notice, but they were completely unprepared for the masses this year, especially considering over the past 4 years, The White Sox have been the worst team in baseball history. ALL that said, I understand this guy and what he's saying, so I hope he understands what I'm saying. Nonetheless, for me, a White Sox fan my entire life, I will still go to plenty of games and enjoy myself. Here is to the future though, which I hope has a more consistently better team. And a more prepared Rate Field to be sure. Peace and I wish my team The White Sox the absolute best.

You're ignorant. This park has history and character to it. I say that as a cubs fan. The "exploding scoreboard" you see out in centerfield was the first of its kind put up by bill veeck. There's history in that ballpark, which helped pave the way for some of the new parks you see today. Instead of being ignorant, try learning a bit of history so you can acknowledge and appreciate it.
