I got together with a few friends to venture up to Northern Utah for some birding. We started in Howell scanning farm fields for Snow Bunting and the various longspurs you can sometimes find there. Afterwards we visited the Bear River Migratory Auto Tour Loop which is one of the best hotspots in all of Utah.

This adventure was a lot of fun! My 2nd favorite thing behind the birds is the birding community and it was great spending the day with you four!

House sparrows and mallards appreciate the absence of other birds, it is pretty much their only chance of being featured in a birding video 😊

We have horned larks right now on Mission Peak but there's no way I can get up there, so next time there's a gap in the rain (yay rain!) I will go up to the plateau on the edge of town and see if there are any up there, or anything else good. Sometimes we even get yellow billed magpies. 3:00
