The humanistic approach to psychotherapy is unusual in itself. On the one hand, its tenets seem so simple and obvious that there's no need to single it out as a separate movement. On the other hand, this is often precisely why it's so difficult to immediately take seriously—for both clients and specialists. However, for me, it's a favorite approach, whose apparent shortcomings actually turn into strengths that hold enormous benefits for each of us. Don't believe me? Now I'll try to convince you.
