An exciting new ski from Stockli! This Stormrider 108 is the widest ski they've had in their line for quite some time and also the closest thing we've had to a Stockli twin tip since the Rotor skis went away. We're excited to ski it more and get it into some proper soft snow conditions. Enjoy!

Jeff looks really dynamic on this ski.

Stöckli entering the freeride category adopting taper and tail splay in 2026 reminds me of Atomic presenting their first snowboard in 2001. Missed the mark late out of the gate!

i had to look up the specs on my 2019 stockli stormrider 105.. 177 with a 19.3 turn radius.. one thing i could tell that is similar with those 108s was how quick you can get on and off the edges.. just like you said if you get into an edge it will hold but you don't have to get into an edge or at least deep into an edge and i could see that those 108s are not slarvy.. they still carve.. i also imagine that they only a couple cm forward.. probably the same amount for the tail rocker.. the thing about all stockli is that you can tell that they have a tail.. if you get in the back seat you will know and you will know fast..
the other thing about stockli that i could see in this video but they are so smooth that you do not know how fast you are going until you catch up to people..

you guys living in Stowe, my hats off to you. I grew up in West Dover and moved to Squaw Valley, and now live in Aspen. Watching your videos and seeing you guys all bundled up, burrrrrr! I feel like growing up in Vermont is a great place to learn how to ski but then get the hell out of there! As a kid, my father did a promotional commercial for Stowe and he brought my brother and I along. It snowed the night before and we had a great powder day for New England but living in Olympic Valley and now Colorado, doesn’t get much better for this old ski bum.

You guys should 100% share carv data on these videos. Be cool to compare your numbers between skis.

I test drove it, but it wasn't even close to the manufacturer's cutting-edge boards that appear in FWT. You can feel the oldness of the design and the simplicity of the materials.

wow thats a beautiful ski, only thing that could be better is if it was a metallic black

How similar does it feel to the vena cor in terms of turn feel, pop and flex because I really liked the vena cor but felt like it deflected too easily off piste and didnt really inspire confidence in deeper snow

Nice ski and awesome review as always. One size question on this ski. I use enforcer 99 at 173cm and sender 110 at 176cm. For stormrider 108 should I go up to 180cm? The 174cm seems run very short 14.9m turn radius on 108. I would like have your opinion on this. Is this ski more like enforcer 110 or something like qst 106 or sender 110? Thank you!

Can’t figure a sharp turn up rear rocker and no taper? I was really looking forward to this ski as a Teton powder everyday driver, but will need to get one first. Strange ski coupled with the short radius. Looks like you were on some pretty hard snow, so it must hold a good edge, but appeared to kick a few times.

I missed the discussion on construction and weight. Can you give a quick description? Thanks

Did Jeff ski the 186 and if so what were his thoughts on it compared to the 180?

WHOAAAA!!! We can get to the "Stoked" 108 ski later, BUT, WHAT HELMET IS BOB WEARING 1:12 WITH A BRIM TO KEEP THE WATER FROM DRIPPING INTO THE TOP OF GOGGLES?????????????????????????????????????????????
No mention if they are as smooth and quiet as all the other Stormriders? I ski the SR95 often and absolutely love that ski. ESPECIALLY the new 25/26 version which moved the mount pt back a bit, and somehow loosened up the tail as well, it is MUCH less "grabby/catchy" in the tail than the 24/25 version. Maybe the mount pt did that, I don't know. But the newest SR95 is the BOMB! Can't wait to give the 108 a whirl. The 102 was ok, but wasn't perfect for me for some reason.

Funny I was literally thinking the new Nordica unleashed 106 or 108 as a comp to this ski. You know it was gonna rip a carve for a 108. Is it just better than the unleashed?

This ski doesn't have the extremely short turn radius of the DPS Pagoda 112 RP; is there anything else like the DPS which is just a little bit heavier/damper?

As you said you’re doubting between 180 and 186, being 5,8 feet (178cm) what length would you recommend?
