My one piece of unsolicited advice right now is this:
Try to melt into Knowing Nothing, Beginner’s Mind.
As a cult member of the JW‘s, you know you were conditioned to know everything, to be a know it at all, to have all the answers. You were right; the world was wrong.
Now… you know nothing.
This is actually a wonderful time in your life to ❤not know anything❤ and to just find in your heart and your own human dignity and your own mind what you want to do with this limited time we have on the planet.
I see waaaaay too many EX JW’s jump from the frying pan into a fire and they join another religion, walking around saying that they Now have the truth once again.
I know it’s scary, but what would it be like to not know and consult YOURSELF?
You’re now like everybody else— you have to find the answers within.
Sending you and your family hugs.
