He is regarded as one of the best traders to have ever lived. In the height of his career in 1987 he made $1.4 Million in a single day making it a top ten trade of all time and at one point he was solely responsible for 10% of the volume of the S&P.

I think a “thank you” would be an understatement. You deserve a massive applause for bringing this interview to life. I can’t begin to describe how important this podcast is for the world of trading, for traders like me, who every day show up to hustle up a dollar or two. Lewis Borsellino was a trader that I tried to study when I started 26 years ago. There was not much information available like there is today. What I would have given for this information almost 3 decades ago is significant. Yes, we can argue that there were inefficiencies in the pits, which have been ironed out with electronic trading. Those “top step” traders learned to read the brokers and could keep a visual reference of what flow came into the market. Still, like today, it was the fewest who made it, like Lewis Borsellino made it. I don’t believe we will study this podcast in the years to come, trying to figure out what his strategy was. We will study this podcast in the years to come to figure out who he was, what his belief system was, what his inner dialogue was, and how he handled setbacks. You have created an interview of lasting legacy, and I am truly grateful for it. Thank you.
