A museum cleaner knocks a painting off a wall and leaves a hand-sized crack in
the plaster. He phones a workman to fill it. Before the plaster arrives, a
visitor stops in front of the crack, gets angry, and then decides he likes it.

By the time the room agrees, the crack has a brass plaque, a price, and an
artist who did not make it. Collectors bid. A critic explains what it means.
The price goes from two million to a hundred. Everyone is perfectly sincere.

The shot framing and flow reminded me of a Wes Anderson film. The brilliant colours, the evenly balanced shots, the way each scene was cut, even the line delivery style. I love Wes Anderson's movies. But this told an entire story concisely and with richer feeling in a short time. Concise and it pulled you along at the exact right pace.

Which A.I., in the hands of a gifted creator is all about: storytelling, Specifically, storytelling that can be done by one person rather than a production crew, and an absurdly impossible screen is accomplished exactly as the realistic scene before it. Great concept. The idea is so creative and French. Has no special effects or future inspired themes to suggest AI was the underling technique used to create this short film. Congrats.
