the judges were so disappointed when jon got eliminated

He's been 14 years in the NFL and an awesome magician but what I love most is his personality.

The judges were so shocked 😱 and so was I

Such a chill guy. No overacting no exaggerated emotions while he got the golden buzzer

simons reaction at the audition is priceless :)

The magic is good but HE makes the magic incredible!

as far as i'm concerned, he still won. he is a great magician. he didn't give up on his dreams he chased after them. he is and will always be a winner in my book.

I couldn't believe he was not the winner that year. John was awesome. I loved the way he did his magic. He was just so very good at it.

see the judges surprise ?
he should've won this

I think Jon should have won this. I think the reason why ppl didn’t vote for him to win it was bc he was a NFL player. After he played for the Eagles for many years he went to play for my favorite team New Orleans Saints. Not to long ago he found out his heart was bad & he had to have open heart surgery. He was on Ellen today & she told the audience & the viewers at home that he had the open heart surgery just seven weeks ago. I pretty sure he had to retire from the NFL due to his heart problem. Which sucks & that just shows that your dream career can be taking away so fast. but I’m glad he’s still alive & recovering really well from his surgery & till doing magic tricks. I would love if he went on tour bc I would love to go see him in person & see these amazing tricks in person.

He is the real deal on every level. Great athlete, great magician/comedian and a great guy ❤🎉

After watching Jon Dorenbos over and over again, the interaction, reaction and  emotion from the judges and the audience, is definitely the best interactive and magical  performance to date still!

Seeing his personality here, who wouldn't want to be friends with this guy?

The guy have a great attitude he's well liked in the audience even the judges loved Jon.

Howie looked so sad when Jon got 3rd place

Jon Dorenbos : a Insane Magician.... a Amazing Entertainer....a absolut Great Guy ... This is the Winner °!!!!

Even the judges wanted him to win, they were SO suprised too

I went on a football trip with Jon to Hawaii when he played for UTEP..while we were waiting for our flight coming home, he did a lot of card tricks to entertain his team mates.. he is a great guy, no questions about it !!!

Best magic trick ever:  Being traded and a doctor hearing a murmur in his heart during his physical screening and it saved his life.  If he had gotten hit in the chest during a game there was a SOLID chance that he would have died on the spot.

Love you Jon and GO BIRDS!!!
