It’s actually so cathartic hearing Holly lose her shit laughing after being so rock-solidly in character for basically the entire dub. XD

Holly’s ability to do a several minute long kinda-monologue is crazy. This dub rules.

I believe the japanese voice actress for Luffy has said that she does not read the One Piece manga ahead of time and is reacting to everything happening in real time, so you are in good company by not playing KH

Okay, I was so confused when someone said this was the VA behind Sora in the Do No Harm series. The vocal range is insane!

I've watched Joy and Jenny's commentaries thus far and it's so interesting to see the different sides of production also both of them realizing how funny Baalp is.

jenniny cricket. is this anything

1:07:42 I love that Holly decided to scream here and that's like the only line where Sora is loud for the entire dub.

"Snacube's real time fandub is a comedy improv series" all of the sudden had the same energy as
"Espio the chameleon is a character from Sonic the Hedgehog"

Watching through the dub first, thinking that Holly is just really good at holding in her laughter and "staying professional", then seeing her laughing up a storm and talking about how nervous she was throughout the entire recording is such whiplash hehe, everyone is amazing in this dub and I love all their performances

42:16 reaction start ^_^

watching cast members (holly, joy, jenny) commentary is so fun i feel like im watching the dvd extras yayyy

Holly, I FUCKING LOVE your vocal range. The fact that you sound like you do, but can bust out a Joe Pera, or be THE FUCKIN CREEP, I just love it so much lol. You're a gem, a sweetheart, and a brilliant talent and your voice sparks joy.

YOU HAVE SELECTED KING MICKEY AS YOUR COMPUTER'S DEFAULT VOICE

This sounds cheesy, but I'm really appreciative of your transparency of how nervous you were participating in this.
Edit: Didn't realize a moderator and not Holly runs this account! Oh well.

I unironically love rtvs style commentary videos where it's maybe 10 seconds of the video and then 30 seconds to several minutes of explanation. It's genuinely funny and heartwarming when the people on a project get excited to explain everything

The multiple choice dialogue boxes are my favorite bit of the fandub.

1:09:53 You pointing that out has made me realize. “Oh the log just disappears.” I’ve played this game like…5 or so times and I never noticed the big fucking log just disappears.

How amazing that a boy like me aged 5-13 can find the commentary of a boy aged 4-14

I too have been thinking about "eat for weks" ever since I heard it

I was expecting the explanation for sleepy Aerith to be that Sephiroth did heart surgery on her and that she was still out if it from the anesthesia.

Thank you for validating my House of Leaves opinions, it's more esoteric than your average page-turner, but it's no Finnegans's Wake.
