In this video, I’m taking the viral 18p Lemon Soda recipe and giving it a professional Lab overhaul. We’ve ditched the PET bottle and moved into a proper 2L fermenter with an airlock to create a crystal-clear, punchy, 12% Hard Lemonade for a fraction of supermarket prices.

By using fresh zest for essential oils and high-gravity Turbo Yeast, this "Happy Accident" turned out to be the strongest, best-tasting soda we’ve ever brewed in the Lab.

I did a little experiment recently, I took one of those Innocent Energise juice drinks and let it sit for 90 days to seperate. When it seperated i had about 40% clear ruby red liquid and 60% solid. I siphoned off the clear liquid and filtered it through a cheese cloth a few times to get any remaining particulate. I transferred 150ml into a sterilised bottle with 50g white sugar and 1/2gram baker's yeast, the other 150ml into another sterlised bottle with just 1/2gram yeast and secured both tops with two baloons each with a pin hole in each baloon. It has been 4 days since fermentation began and it's going strong, the one with 50g extra sugar is going crazy. I'm going to leave it for another 3-4 days or until the baloons start to deflate and then siphon it off into some stubby glass bottles to see what i've got. I've not taken any gravity readings at all so it's going to be a case of eyeballing the percentage.
Congrats on 100k, your content inspired me to take the plunge and invest in a proper brewing kit which should arrive this weekend and i plan on following your strawberry wine recipe, hopefully it turns out as good as yours!
Also as a side note to this very long comment, have you thought about setting up a Discord server for your community? We could all share tips and recipes.
