SHARMON — My parents and I were on that SAME BEACH that SAME NIGHT (19:48). We’re watching it now and we are seriously freaking out 😳😂💯!! We love you and watch you religiously every Sunday!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Reminds me of the Four Seasons song, Oh What a Night! I would’ve been over the moon too. Love the term “shellendipity!” Thats how I got my giant eastern murex in South Carolina last year. Went to look at one thing and almost stepped barefoot on the murex that was mostly buried at the low tide mark. It brushed my heel when I stepped backward and I stopped to look and see what it was. Made my shelling year to bot have found it and that it didn’t wreck my foot, lol. 🐚❤️
I got home to Kentucky late last night. We spent a week in Ft. Myers Beach. The tide schedule and wind patterns didn’t make for an A-list shell haul, but I did wrestle some nice ones from a Sanibel rip current, and Ft, Myers beach coughed up a whole lot of lightening whelks and olives. My daughter also found a big empty horse conch. It’s got a couple of nice holes. I plan to clean it and put fairy lights inside. ❤ I love SWF. I miss it already.
That was an incredible night shelling trip! I was on Marco at that time and found some lovely true tulips, and I was not alone on the beach either, lol. The horse conchs you found are absolutely stunning, thanks for sharing.
WOW what a great night!!! I know you were so excited. I went shelling at night when I was in Sanibel and it is kind of scary. Thank you for the fun beach walk. HAPPY EASTER!! Have a great week and see you Sunday! XOXO
