Luana, 25, was murdered by her partner Patrick inside her home in Cosmópolis, in the interior of São Paulo. The attack, which occurred in front of their three children, resulted in a family tragedy. Patrick, who had a turbulent relationship with Luana, attacked her with a knife while she slept. After the crime, he attempted suicide with poison, but survived and is under police guard.

The discovery of a positive pregnancy test in the residence brought even more pain to the family, suggesting that Luana was pregnant again, a fact still unknown to her relatives. Luana, who had filed police reports due to Patrick's aggression, hoped that her youngest daughter could grow up with her father.
