🕌 WHO WAS RUMI?

Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, born in 1207 in Balkh (present-day
Afghanistan), was one of the greatest spiritual poets and Sufi
mystics in human history. His magnum opus, the Masnavi — a
six-volume collection of spiritual poetry — is considered one of
the greatest works of Persian literature and Sufi wisdom ever
written.

Rumi's teachings were rooted in the concept of divine love — the
idea that the soul, like the reed flute (Ney), cries out for its
origin, for its Source, for God. His poetry speaks across religion,
