Tonight I’m heading into the woods with no tent, just a tarp and a bivvy bag, to see if I can build a camp so low and hidden that you could walk straight past without even noticing it 👀
The challenge is making it as stealthy as possible while still leaving enough room to actually live underneath it and spend the whole night there. I’ll be testing how hidden it is from a distance, seeing what happens once it gets dark, and finding out whether sacrificing all that space for stealth was actually worth it!
For this camp I wanted to keep everything as simple and low key as possible, so instead of bringing cooking gear I packed a yfood for dinner. They’re so handy for adventures like this when I want something quick and easy without getting a stove out or carrying loads of extra kit.

Im 64 and was lucky in my 20 + 30s to share my timevwith a girl similar to yourself ( unfortunately I heard she passed quite recently)
