The reason people got mad about them playing old bits repeatedly is that they had a loyal audience that listened every minute of every day and they would replay things only to waste time and get to the end of their contract time. Opie would constantly defend them doing that when he knew the real reason was they were trying to waste time because none of them did show prep.

I’ve heard the Space Shull Endeavor bit so many times but I forgot Opie’s intro.  It makes me hate the bit with the way he teases it that some don’t know, and how listeners are stupid for… “saying, ‘why are you replaying that duddeeee.’ And they just don’t get it” when in reality Opie just doesn’t get it thst we know he’s lying. This is the first replay and he over laughs….  “We’re back live hahaha we have to laugh hahah”
