Thanks Steve for another tale of fate and consequences .
Have a great week!

It's a sad fact that being well connected could could save your neck.  Two tier justice at its most merciless and brutal.

Very well researched and presented Steve

One of the most interesting men of the 20th century.

Thank you sir.As always I look forward to the next episode.

Good one, Steve. I reckon Stewart should have been thankful for having  'friends in high places'.

I think they should both have faced the same fate. Thank you Steve. As always I have liked and hyped!

Thanks Steve.  As always I really enjoyed watching this. Your attention to detail and the background of the case is absolutely brilliant.  Thanks again.  James.

Steve, Fantastic episode! VERY detailed. Both should have been found guilty. Thanks for your hard work. Bib

Thank you Steve, for another excellent presentation 👍👍

Thank you Steve, amazing tale and consequence... Blessed Be !

Thank you for narrating your videos.

Excellenty.... These tales are riveting.....

Thank you,  Steve.  Excellent work on this presentation!

Did he sing "Lloyd-George knew my Father" on the gallows?😆😆😆 Thanks for another masterful presentation.

Got the heads up that a new video was being released.
As always, it's 1st class presentation....

A Buddhist abbot, a gun runner, a British spy, a German spy, a Protestant clergyman, a Liberal MP, with a father like that you're probably gonna be a little mixed up. Extraordinary stuff! But Lincoln knew what he was doing when he took the gun with him, and he had no real complaints about the sentence. Those two extra beers cost him his life, as well as the life of Teddy Richards. What price human folly.
And he missed out big time by not living the rest of his life with his fiance, the very fair Lily. But really, Richards' dying words, "You rotters, you got me!" I suppose folks in those days did actually talk like that. Another well researched and well presented episode, I don't know how you do it. But looking forward to the one on Peter Manuel, if you know what I mean.

The robbery, and thus the murder which followed from it, were a joint enterprise. That makes Stewart equally guilty IMHO.

Ironically E Battery is now stationed in Tidworth Garrison as part of 1 RHA not all that far away from Trowbridge.

19:01 'You rotter, You've got me' What a brilliant English understatement after being shot, and indication of how times, behaviour and the English language has changed !     Another classic episode, Steve. Only musing how they were caught so quickly. As for two tiered justice: 'Justice is open to all....like the Ritz Hotel'.....;-)
