I'm glad I'm old... I don't have anything to prove to myself anymore...like am I brave enough to get catapulted over a cliff?  No.

At 0:35 unless I'm not seeing things right, I'd be as terrified as that kid is. From what I can see, he is NOT tethered from above, and he does not have any rope or cable functioning as handrails. He's basically standing there without any supports.

He's holding that line in his left hand, but look at the slack in it. That's his safety tether, not a "handrail."

And adding to his miserable/terrifying plight, looks like he's standing on a VERY SMALL rubber half sphere, that looks to have a lot of give (see his shoes sinking into the surface). And using his shoes to estimate the diameter of the little rubber platform, it is so small that there's no room for error.
With such a small platform it is super easy to lose one's balance.

But wait, there's more.

Pause at 0:40. Even if that kid survived crossing those rubber spheres, is that the path he must go to get off that cursed attraction?

I have only one last question, who is the sadistic mind that invented that thing?

P.S. It is amusing that they give the participants helmets. Like those are going to do any good. Must be an insurance company requirement.

Just remember:  Every one of those rides was built by the lowest bidder.

Damn whoever was driving that boat is an absolute mad lad.

My adrenaline spiked just watching people on these, I have no need to experience most of them first hand.

Sooooo much Fun to watch from the comfort of ones sofa. Thanks!

Heads up and word of simple caution: If you're prone to kidney stones, rollercoasters can dislodge them from your kidneys and start the process of a emergency room visit. You'll know soon enough after your done with the ride or visiting the park where you rode it.

Most of these rides are so extreme that I  would never ever think of riding one. I did, however, very much enjoy watching others go for it. Great video. Thanks.

My country showed up more than 5 times in this video I could not be any more proud much love from New Zealand every one

I just watched a video about the drop onto a safety net attraction. There was a girl who got severely injured and paralyzed. The man responsible for releasing the person to drop from the top did it too soon before the safety net was lifted up off the ground and so she literally plunged straight to the ground.

بصفتي شخص يملك فوبيا المرتفعات فمجرد مشاهدة هذا الفيديو تجعل قلبي يخفق بشدة 😅😂

I did all the rides at the top of the Stratosphere a few years ago when I visited with my family. The one that shoots you straight up was the most breath-taking one. I've never felt so high up! Glad I did them all though, they were all 'now or never' moments.

A lot of these clips were heavily edited such as sped up to make certain “attractions” appear to be something they’re not..

Make sure you wear brown pants when attempting many of these thrill rides. Helps to hide the stain

A friend of mine and his 10 year old son witnessed a reverse bungee jumper splatter onto the pavement 20 yards from them at the Ottawa Exhibition.

The news media all lied about what really happened. They blamed the accident on one of the workers, but the cord itself snapped, having been used way past its safety limit.

I've proudly been on 4 of these rides and a few I that should have been on this list as well.

The Rere Rockslide in New Zealand is reported in some sources online to have a 30 degree slope.  Looking at the video of people walking up the sides, it is clear that the slope is not 30 degrees, but more like 30 percent (drops 3 feet in ten feet of horizontal) which is about 16.7 degrees.  A 30-degree slope drops 5.77 feet in 10 feet of horizontal.  That's approaching the steepness of a stairway in a public building, and very difficult to walk up on a slope on a plane surface.  Unfortunately, it's very common for sources to confuse percent slope with degree slope.

I'd ride anyone of those roller coasters in a heartbeat!  I'm a huge coaster fan.  And those death drop rides that raise you up then drop you, yeah I'd ride those too!
