For the mycelium farm, if you surround the outside edges of the room with a trench by digging out the ground, the big mushrooms that can destroy walls can't reach them and stops at the trench instead, so nothing gets destroyed by them

for any new players, I'm also a beginer player but if you are lucky enough to find the hammer you are golden! destroys walls very fast and leaves a lot of space to walk, also, don't be afraid of destroy walls, you can find lots of locked chests in there, find keys in crates and get rare items, that's where I got the hammer 👍

30 hours in... and i did not know you can put torches on walls...

You don't need to bother with canals, you can create a "Wash Basin" at the carpenters bench and use that to fill your watering can.

On scrapping and repairing, repairing only costs scrap parts. You don't need any other materials to repair your items

9:20 By default, you have 75% chance at getting a seed
There is a gardening perk that applies another 25%, therefore bringing you to 100%

This game got me thru Covid when it was rampaging across the world, last time I played it was 2022 and a lot has changed so any tips you care to share are helpful. Five minutes into my new game the other day I mined something and it exploded killing me, that wasn't there before. Lots of new things to learn.

I got a feeling this guys opinion is humble

I dig a trench around my mycelium farm so the heavy enemies can't break anything

Just started this game a few days ago.

The hoe is the best tool for picking up floor tiles, slime tiles, mushroom tiles, railroad tracks... etc... the copper one is a 4x4 tile so it makes it really quick.

Another thing I started doing was running tunnels off in different directions. You can run into enemies that will kill you but it is easy to just run away and go another directions. The reason is to find things like crates, camps, buildings, and even a little mines with tracks etc... like Minecraft.

I found some sick gear like rare armor and a musket which is my current weapon. It does 300 damage with my current bonuses.

This is helpful, thank you. Glad the channel is thriving as well, I followed you initially because of Rimworld. :)

I got lucky and got a slime wand for my mage, it shoots projectiles that bounce around so I just kited the 1st boss.

I like your accent! Very fun and cool and engaging 😎 I got back into this game after a few years and I’m so lost 😭 it’s very sad. I took my main character into my new world and zipped around super fast and deleted the first boss though 😂 that was kinda fun 🤷🏻‍♂️

Amazing tips! Good sense of humor from this guy. Can anyone help, I’m on Xbox and can’t equip anything off-hand, lanterns or anything. I haven’t tried a shield
