those babies look miserable honestly, that coaches sound so damn rude and critical more than constructive

None of them was smiling. Energy of coaches reflects on students

It always killed me how the other teams had tumbling but they couldn't do simple toe touch. Yall need to have these girls doing leg raises with weights.  And I promise you it will add more power to their tumbling in addition.
Strong legs and core! Flexibility doesn't hurt either.  And more involved coaches
Edit: Ik these are just tryouts but someone needs clearly doesn't know

Reason behind the young athletes not listening and learning is from the lack of leadership in coaching. As I former cheerleading coach and collegiate cheerleader it’s better to show and teach physically with the athletes for better performance and ability!
I don’t agree with coaches and judges who are in no physical shape and form to tell and judge without having the ability to physically preform a skill let alone verbally request a skill from a athlete that they CANNOT PREFORM themselves!

these girls have so much potential, they need some coaches that’s actually hands on tho! next caller, GO GIRLS!!

Been watching for 2 mins and the coaches are already failing 😂😂 why are you not up coaching but yelling and eating nachos??? Been a gymnast ever since I could walk. Having a good coach makes a world of difference

I really wish these girls had a positive gym and positive coaches.  It’s heartbreaking watching the way this gym treats them.   Very negative.

These girls are talented. I’m concerned that they can tumble pretty well, but their jumps aren’t good. Lots of stretching and technique classes would help.

this seemed so all over the place. this is a tryout not a practice. but hey to each their own i guess

the fact that the coach with straight hair was fixing it. And not caring. But the one with fluffy hair with the black top she’s caring and saying it’s ok!

0:57 this little one in all black is so so good! such good technique!

Little girl in all black with white bow can tumble!! Shes gonna be one heck of a gymnast!

Never been to tryouts where my coachess are straight eating while trying to tell me what to do at the same time.  Unprofessional  n lazy n they bored to be there, the only that looks interested and that cares is the coach in the chair. There giving there all,  so give them the attention

The last coach with the fuzzy hair was nice the others were just yelling and eating nachos and chess lol

Everyone looks so pissed 😂

my heart is hurting for these kids.  There is zero leadership here for them.  It's like they are just being barked at.  I was a very serious athlete, and this is NOT how you build a team of any sort.  There is such potential for lifelong strength and character.
I'm so old that I still think Bobby Knight was one of the best coaches ever & he was the epitome of tough as nails and take no crap.  This is the absolute opposite of anything helpful to these kids.  What these adults are doing with their voices is worse than any chair ever thrown.

I smell abuse of authority, passive aggressiveness, aggression, colorism, favoritism, texturism, emotional abuse, low self esteem, anxiety, inferiority, comparison, anything toxic you can think of that would put these kids down

I don't think a single one of those athletes smiled. Never seen a tryout look so depressing.

Taylor is so consistent and on top of everything!! She’s my favorite!! She always does what she’s told and executes EVERYTHING!! Taylor Supremacy>>>>
