My neighbours love this song, they threw a brick through my window so they could hear it better.

I'm not lying I used to love this when I was a teenager. 😅

Love the double drum sound,  something that Adam Ant also used nearly a decade later.

I hate what GG was in real life, but as a child growing up, I was 11 when this was released and loved the sound, the double drums, hand clap and two saxes...just brilliant. When played through high quality stereo earbuds/headphones, you begin to appreciate Mike Leander's vision. The first few seconds intro is still fab.

They were ahead their time. !!!

Love this song. We have to separate the music of the time and this man

He was a good showman & performer, regardless of what people now think of him

They were the number 1 band at the time - 1973

This music is all you need.......

The music was bigger than the man, there is no shame in liking the music of the Glitter Band.

When I first heard roll & roll parts 1 & 2 it was way ahead of its time. Fantastic

brilliant song

Still love this music.

A good sound. full of energy and life

He really was the King of The Glam Rock scene. I also thought he was just amazing

Great music fantastic memories

Used to love this when I was a kid. 😊

When you hear double percussion, two saxophones and characteristic sound of guitars you know who is going to sing.
🥁🥁🎷🎷🎸🎸

The way the UK is going I wouldn’t be surprised if he was back on the BBC soon.

“Angel Face” by the Glitter Band is a stunning pop tune!
