Headline in BBC News at 10 tonight - “70 years of adverts” 😂😂

I fully agree with you, 3 and a half months is nowhere long enough to show these ITV Archives,
ITV really need a Re-think.

At least ITV70 saw many retro programmes being added to ITVX.

So it least it's somewhat better than CBBC's 40th Anniversary, which did nothing.

Could we have a video about the impending purchase of ITV by Sky and the fact none of our media will be British owned. 😢

I like what ITV did the last time showing some of the different franchises idents from the past and they had a montage to celebrate.

Arguably, The BBC and ITV Have Celebrated the Most Important Milestones they’ve ever had as they transition into a New Era. When the BBC (British Broadcasting Company now known as British Broadcast Corporation) is 100, A Century Old, and the ITV (Independent Television) 📺 Seven Decades Young now 70 in the years of 2022 and 2025 Respectively

When television turns 70 in Australia next year you can bet Channel 9 will do something

@deepred6502 1 year ago

Maybe ITV is saving the big milestone for the 75th anniversary in 5 years time.

The irony is that ITV was at its peak when it wasn't particularly one entity but was made up of a federal structure by the franchises. After the merger, it's all been downhill.

I know at least 3 households, (of older people) who can't see the internet, and who would have loved all the ITVX content. ITV, Please, Please, put something on the proper TV.

If anything, they're probably saving the big celebration for 75

Ah, Secret Life of a Call Girl, which I watched with my MOTHER!!! Not sure what I was thinking there lol. We both just really liked her from Doctor Who and wanted to support her new venture. I think we eventually decided "We can keep watching this, but let's do so separately." Lol 🤦‍♀️
