Today I’m joined by my friend Angie for something a little different. We’re revamping her entire makeup routine! 💄✨

Angie is a fellow teacher, and she wanted a routine that felt easy, natural, polished, and actually realistic for busy mornings. So we went step-by-step through her makeup, streamlined the products, improved the techniques, and focused on giving her a routine she can confidently recreate on her own.

To make things even more fun, I did one side of her face while Angie tackled the other for a little “I do, we do, you do” teacher-style makeup lesson.

We cover everything from concealer and powder foundation to bronzer, brows, eyes, lips, and one of the biggest takeaways of the day: if you’re always worried you’ve put on too much blush, try doing your blush LAST and just maybe you won’t wipe it all off in the car! Once the rest of your makeup is finished, it becomes much easier to see exactly how much color your face actually needs.

Whether you’re in your 40s and looking to refresh your routine, you’re not sure where to start with makeup, or you simply want to make getting ready a little quicker and easier, I hope there are some tips in here that you can use too.
