Dany’s guitar here is a baritone fender. The way she tunes it is like a 7 string but without the top string.

Dany's Baritone is in a drop A tuning, and it is tuned liked a 7-string. She just skips the 2nd to top string for a 6-string setup. As for Pau's drumming style being effortless, she's put a ton of work into it. If you look at performances when she was 13-16 it was very wild, huge movements. (We call it the "Animal" phase, like in the muppets, because Dany teased her about it). She's since learned how to get the same effect, and so much more, with less effort and more precision. Also heavier sticks, as the ones she used when younger had a tendency to splinter and break frequently. She's a heavy hitter.

Dany is playing a baritone guitar on this track.

Their live concert recordings are even better than their studio records.

Welcome to "TWA" {The warning Army} glad to see you choose TW,great reaction,i believe this to be one of the best rock bands in the last 10 years

To Hear the Drummer sing try Dust to Dust/Dull Knives Live from the Pepsi Center!!! You won't regret it.... Incredible ROCK Songs.

The guitar "wobble" effect you're hearing ISN'T because of the detuned string, it's because Dany is slightly bending the string as she plays it. She does that quite a bit, in general.   It was really noticeable in her Guitar World video where she was demonstrating some of her favorite riffs she created for The Warning's 2024 "Keep Me Fed" album. The guitar she's playing here is a Fender Baritone (which has thicker low strings) tuned to Drop-A. So the low E string isn't as loose as it would normally be, if it was just a regular guitar instead of a baritone.

Paulina is a Modern Drummer and Drumeo award winner!  The Warning is my favorite Rock Band of the last 25 years. I saw them last July in Chicago on their headline tour and I will never miss an opportunity to see them again. They are the real deal and they play straight up rock with no gimmicks. They don't use any auto tune or pitch correction in their live performances and you just feel how comfortable and natural they are on stage. They have a variety of influences and sounds and they always find a groove. Subbed for "More" The Warning! 🤟⚡🤘

Always love watching The Warning gain a new fan! They are the future of Rock! Dany is playing a extended range baritone tuned to Drop A

Carry on down this rabbit hole you won’t regret it especially the live songs

Dany's playing a baritone Strat

The bass is also in Drop A. Daniela has a video on Guitar World where she talks about her favorite riffs from their Keep Me Fed album, including "Automatic Sun", her favorite all time riff. She also discusses her tuning on the Fender baritone and the techniques she uses on other songs.

Thank you so much for the reaction! Roughly 65 songs in their catalog and they're all bangers like this. Pepsi Center Concert is a must-react event. The whole thing. You'll head-bang, you'll stop and watch in wonder, and there's a strong likelihood that you might even tear-up a couple times. Dany's vocal range is C#3 - G6.  Paulina is the reigning 2025 Modern Drummer Rock Drummer of the Year.  Alejandra (Ale') became the youngest ever signature artist with Spector at the age of 15 when she stood side by side with Spector engineers and designed that bass she's playing, from the ebony neck, band logo in mother of pearl on the neck, redwood body, pickups, strings... The finish of that bass looks like burning embers. It's called 'Ale's Inferno'.

Dany is using a baritone guitar for this song. It has a longer neck and thicker strings than a normal 6 string
I highly recommend checking out their song Escapism performed on the Honda Stage in a live studio session like this one

More Warning is always a great choice guys.  Their Live shows and performances are next level.....we refer to it as their "superpower".  Thanks for this one.

Try 'Dust to Dust/Dull Knives' from Pepsi Center - and pay attention to who's singing!

TWA South Africa reporting in. Yup, they were born to ROCK!!! More TW please!🤘

Live studio is great, but seeing them at a live show is a different level.

The next legit super group. Live is their superpower.  Pau flows like water on the set. Dany can sing anything. Ale has a Jazz education, has perfect pitch and is a human metronome.

It is about damn time that you gentlemen checked out The Warning. The Villarreal sisters are amazing and even though they are only 26 Daniela, 24 Paulina and 21 Alejandra years old they have been a performing band for more than a dozen years now and will be dropping their 5th full album on August 28as well as having 2 EP's and 1 Live album. Their first EP and 2 albums were independent and  crowd funded but their last 2 albums and their live album have been released since they signed with Lava/Republic/UMG. Thx, keep em coming and The Warning Army will be here for it.
