Can you imagine one player hitting more home runs than every team in the league, Babe is now and will aways be the greatest sports figure of all time

Mike Wallace "Biography " was one of my favorite shows

The great bambino, the icon to play baseball.

The Babe came into an established game and changed the way the game was played.

Those kids certainly will have something to tell their children and grandchildren one day!! A meeting with Baseball's greatest superstar.

I always get a laugh😅when a reporter told the Babe he had a bigger salary than President Herbert Hoover the Babe answered I had a better year than he did🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Biography with Mike Wallace. Used to get up early before school to watch this on Channel 11.

I also love this program and also watched it on channel 11 as a kid

Greatest baseball ⚾️ hitter machine

The “Bambino” 🙏🏼⚾️❤️

A natural. People talk about him not making it in today’s game, but I don’t buy that. His abilities could’ve been adapted to any era!

Best player ever ...⚾️😎💪

His father wasn't just a "bartender."  He had several jobs, including a stint as co-owner of a business sellng lightning rods to homeowners, before he opened his saloon.  There's also some muddled chronology here. Babe didn't begin working out with trainer Artie McGovern until AFT ER 1925, which was when he had his big health crisis (falsely attributed to those apocryphal "18 hot dogs").  They also got his first wife's name wrong -- she was Helen Woodford, not "Woodring."  That hoarse-voiced speech he gave at Yankee Stadium was not dellivered on his last appearance there;  it was on April 7, 1947, during the 25th anniversary celebration of Yankee Stadium.  His last appearance at the Stadium was the following year on June 13, 1948, when they officially retired his uniform No. 3.

Originally syndicated in 1962.

I really enjoyed this.

I like babe Ruth ⚾️😁🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Him going to spend time with kids!!! That’s what I’m talking about. He touched the heart of kids!

In the end Babe wins both Game and Girl!
damn that's every man's dream right there!

❤️ babe ruth

He loved kids! That’s enough to prove he was a good man, whatever his vices might be.
