I love that John thinks the only thing you'd want to re-seal is a bag of chips

@der-nagel 5 months ago

3:11 that’s simply because water blocks bluetooth. It would’ve been incredibly impressive yet confusing if that test turned out differently. 😅

@nathanhale6477 5 months ago

Eaten properly, a bag of chips never requires resealing!😂

People probably buy these cheap prime sds drills, drill the two holes they need to drill and then return them in the window.

Dude, I never read up on John and just learned today he was in the NFL at one point. That’s insane! Way to find your niche brother!

My wife is starting a home bakery. We use these to seal individual treats.

@2:04 I can give a good example of when you want your earbuds waterproof: I dropped my earbuds into a bucket JUST like that one while I was mixing some thinset one day. Dug them out, and they worked just fine.

As a fin - i think you should build a barrel sauna and cold pool on your yard! For the recovery and our entertainment. For the pool - find a broken freezer and just use that for it and find a way to make the temperature below 10°C.

My parents used a vacuum sealer for steaks, bread, literally anything. Buy bulk at costco, keep what you'll eat in the fridge, vacuum seal everything else and throw it in the freezer.

I use that same folding work bench all the time. Fits in the trunk of the sedan easily

Great episode. John should let Sam and Joe run loose on more episodes. I think they hold their own when left to it.

We used the bag sealer to do shrink wrapped items. You'd get large sheets of plastic folded in half and wrapped on a tube and use that to make and seal a "bag" then use a heat gun to shrink the wrap. People use it mostly for small businesses that wrap their own products.

With the press, you should have put a metal plate on top of the object, too.

I have made two cross country trips with a similar VW Golf using a roof bag like that. They were solid. Mine came with straps and I also used ratchets.
