I recently had to dismantle the drive wheel on my TS, the same (later) type as here.
When I lifted the motor assembly out - as at 19:31 - the bearing remained in the wheel, unlike here where it comes out on the axle with the motor, which I imagine is quite likely to happen. There is a plate washer/spacer and a thin shim of the same size (0.16mm thick on mine) between that bearing and the axle which, with nothing retaining them, fell out unexpectedly (and on to the floor).
I only noticed the shim - still on the floor! - the day after I'd reassembled and reinstalled the wheel. The wheel seemed to be working absolutely fine but I assume that without the shim the wheel bearings would fail prematurely from being incorrectly spaced/aligned (the fact that the manufacturer goes to the trouble of shimming it so precisely suggests so).
I wanted to ask if its possible to install larger wheels, especially the front, so the TScoot could tackle much easier pavement ditches or other terrain issues.

I followed the previous model's video when changed the left tire yesterday, and then the brake adjustment video. Now all working just fine. My left tire had a flat spot and a couple of chunks missing from the tread. It also made a 'squidgy-squidgy-squidgy' sound when going down a ship's hallway. By leaning over to the right, the annoying noise stopped, so I knew that it was the left tire that was the issue. Very helpful videos that allow us to do maintenance on our Travelscoots. Off to Japan next weekend, so I am glad that I was able to make the necessary repairs! Thanks.
